Ethiopia Sidamo Dry ProcessMy Friend's Coffee
Blueberry, Raspberry, Florals, Caramelized Sugar
The origins of our company tether to Ethiopian coffees—dry processed varieties in particular. They are so near and dear to us that we refer to them by acronym: EDP. We’re suckers for their berry notes, floral tones, and unctuous bodies. This coffee hits every one of those marks and then some.
Berry-bomb is an apt descriptor for this stellar offering from Ethiopia’s much-celebrated Sidamo region. It’s a melange of tart raspberry and sweet blueberry orbiting a perfumed core. In the background, you’ll catch florals like jasmine, which manage a perfume-like quality that livens the cup’s rich, sweet body. It’s an extraordinary coffee that comes packing Cup of Excellence cred (it placed in the top 10 at this year‘s competition). If you’re like us, and Ethiopian dry processed coffees make you swoon, grab a bag. You won’t be disappointed.
